6-21-12 Alzheimer’s Benefit – Stamford

“Steven Silversteins solo performance at our benefit for The Alzheimer’s Association was top notch. He transported us back to with his incredible talent and choice of selections for our 1920′s Party theme. Additionally, he totally impromptu was able to accompany many singers as if they had spent hours in rehearsal. The audience was totally enamored by his performance. 6-21 PS Graduation- Year Seven

My seventh year as music director, arranger, and pianist for the amazingly talented 5th graders of PS 6 for their “moving on celebration.” This year in addition to the regulars, “Here Comes the Sun,” “The Graduation Song”, “The Time of Your Life”, and “Drift Away,” the kids chose “Lean On Me,”

5-30-12 “Alumni students perform at Tattoria L’incontro”

Steven had the pleasure of creating arrangements and music directing for former students Danielle, Sara, Brett, and Ariel at The Tattoria L’incontro restaurant in Astoria Queens.

It was a 60 minute set that included songs like “Fever,” “The Beauty Is”, “She Touched Me,” “It Hurts Me,” “Soon It’s Gonna Rain” , “You’re Just in Love” and a sort of mash up of “What I did for Love with Seasons of Love.”

5-28-12 “The Evolution of Love”

Steven accompanied students Ariana, Trevor, Elle and Zach at the D Lounge at 8 pm.  Nice ecletic mix of pop, standard and musical theater songs were included.
