I had the pleasure of playing with Bob Halligan Jr for Jonathan Thau’s annual office Christmas party at Villa Berulia.  Rebecca, Jonathan’s daughter sang Silver Bells, Reflection from Mulan, Mi Shebeirach (the Prayer for Healing), Somewhere from West Side Story and with Bob sang the Beatle’s Let it Be followed by an encore of Hey Jude. It was a rocking evening!
Steven has written two new songs for this reading with lyrics by Peter Charles Morris, directed by Phil George, and produced by AMAS Theater (Donna Trinkoff, producer) With Fred Barton, Andrew Briedis, Jay Rogers, Will Taylor, Jake Warnecke, Michael West and Hernando Umana. A new “family” version of his show Rudolph Unplugged in Westchester County on December 11 at 8 pm. (My birthday!). Hope you can make it.
And an out of town tryout was performed on December 3rd at the Miramar Cultural Center (2400 Civic Center Place) in Miramar, Florida. Â We opened for Santa Claus!
Steven’s new song,  “A Secret Santa’s Confession” formerly “The Gift I Want To Get You,” written with lyricist Danielle Trzcinski, will be performed on December 11 at 2:30 pm as part of Christmas Holiday Songbook at The Bruno Walter Auditorium at The New York Public Library.  Admission is free! Steven was proud to serve as one of the rehearsal pianists who helped teach the fantastic arrangement of Don’t Let the Sun Go Down with Electricity by Richard Rockage  for the cast of “Billy Elliot.” Kudos to director Eric Gunhus!
