Steven was honored to arrange “Lamont’s One Track Mind,” on October 8 and Oct 9, 2013 for Lamont Brown, who is beginning the National Tour of 42nd Street this summer.
A great experience! Played piano for Adam Guettel  composer and lyricist for “Floyd Collins,” “Light in the Piazza” for students at Marymount Manhattan College at the York Theater on Sunday April 19th.  Selections included “The Bench Scene” from Carousel; “Goodbye Until Tomorrow,” from The Last Five Years, “Glad To Be Unhappy,” from On Your Toes.
I was very fortunate to play piano/serve as music director and read one scene as Vernon Gersh in a table reading of They’re Playing Our Song, hosted by Doug Shapiro. Â Stacy Lee Tilton and Richard Binder participated among their friends and AMDA alum Michael Hopewell. We had a great time!
I am playing piano and serving as Music Director for  Love: The Experiences of a 20something Year Old produced and directed by Jason Hilliard. This show is about every 20something Year Old living in NYC and the lives they live involving love and even sex! The drunken nights, to the walks of shame in Hell’s Kitchen, experiencing the brutal truths that you definitely don’t want your mother to hear. Each performer has a different lesson to share with the world and of course it will be shared through song! A lovely cabaret with a diverse group of people sharing their stories, and singing.
Two songs on spec are getting various treatments and good feedback.
