Steven’s song “Christmas Eve is for the Young” will be performed on Sunday December 15th sung by Jessica Bashline, music by Steven Silverstein and Lyrics by Barbara Campbell. The song will be performed at the Donnell Library on 53rd st closest to 5th avenue. Happy Holidays!

The Fall of 2002

Music Director for Michael Phelan and Jamie Smith/s encore act at Dont Tell Mamas’ “A Wig and A Prayer” on August 28, 29, September 4 and 7.

Steven was once again the music director for William Ryall’s cabaret act at Don’t Tell Mama at 7 PM, on Sunday September 15 and 9:30 PM on Monday September 16. Steven has written new arrangements for songs like “I’m Never Afraid,” “Mommy’s are People” and “It’s All Right To Cry” for Inside Broadway’s Free To Be. Unfortunately, the show was pulled by the creator of Free To Be.

The Summer of 2002

Most recently, Music Director for LI premiere of Pirates Unbound With John Egan (currently in Jesus Christ Superstar at Westchester Broadway Theatre), Steven has adapted a new production of Pirates of Penzance,this version was premiered in Westchester County in March. Steven has provided new vocal arrangements, new orchestrations and some very interesting musical surprises! The dates are March 14-17. Steven’s song, “Be There” (written with Michael Colby) performed by Jill Geddes (Honk!) will be presented as part of the annual Valentine New Songwriter Evening at the players club. For more info call 206-1515. Performers include Julie Reyburn (MAC Winner). Their song “Finally We Duet” is part of the new musical revue “Sex” the musical and was recorded by Husband and Wife actor and actress Steven Berger and Jan Herndon.
